I’ve lost your email address but would love to reconnect. I am deep in a mess of scientific papers about plants that are hyperaccumulators. Most studies seems to involve chelating agents or other “helpers” but I’m trying to figure out just how much toxicity is to be expected in the aerial parts of so-called hyperaccumulators growing on polluted ground, as well as non-polluted ground where heavy metals occur naturally. I thought you might have some insights, or even resources to direct me to with this sort of info. The information I’ve found so far is from the perspective of using hyperaccumulators effectively to clean up pollution, not for the savvy forager trying not to poison herself.

Hope life is good.

Sincerely,
erica

PS: I know this has absolutely nothing to do with your brew post so feel free to delete!

I’m trying to find info about when you kill your animals (hunting yourself, and cooking) vs when yu buy it like what diseases are in it

I like your brain. Do you think this means that combining Plan B and Queen Anne’s would counteract each other? I know this isn’t why you were researching it but you mention the comparison and I was just curious if you have any thoughts.

By the way, I extracted coffee with vodka both slowly, cold, and quickly, hot: fast and hot tasted much better (once sweetened and diluted). I boiled vodka, then poured it through ground coffee in a coffee filter. I made ‘Kahlua’-like coffee liqueur.

I thought this was cool but, with a bit of concentration I can make the dancer totally stop. It’s not spinning in either direction. Impossible you say? I can do it.
